Marco Kronen’s first experience with real estate wasn’t in buying or selling houses, but in keeping them from burning down. Working as a professional firefighter for eleven years, Marco learned all about construction methods and terminology and developed a unique perspective on the value – both financial and emotional – of a home.
Marco bought his own first home—a tiny one-bedroom in Federal Way—at the age of 22 and spent the next decade trading up, building equity and learning all he could about the business of real estate. In 2003, Marco bought a pre-sale condo in the Cristalla building in downtown Seattle and soon after sold it for a handsome profit. It was then that Marco realized his true calling: Urban Real Estate.
Today Marco is a highly respected and high producing agent, urban real estate consultant and an absolute expert in the buying and selling of urban homes. Calling on a strong work ethic gained as a firefighter, a voracious appetite for knowledge and a sincere desire to see his clients get both a good deal and a great home, Marco has become a top producer, consistently ahead of the pack both in the number of deals he negotiates and in the satisfaction of his customers.
Marco has studied the attitudes and ideas of many of the best business minds around, including Franklin Covey, Howard Schultz and Paul Allen. He’s proud to be a part of Windermere Real Estate, and is particularly dedicated to the company’s mission of giving back to and participating in the communities he works in.
Marco now lives in bustling South Lake Union in a condo with his wife, Loren. When not helping his clients make smart choices about urban homes, Marco spends his time snowboarding, golfing, rooting for the Seahawks, Huskies, and Mariners, attending city planning and project meetings, learning everything he can about real estate and enjoying all the best amenities of city life.
